Ilyas was appointed as Interim Director of Housing Operations in November 2025. Ilyas has been with Unity since November 2024 in various roles supporting the previous Director. Ilyas has over 25 years experience of managing front line housing services and currently serves as a Board member at Harrogate Housing Association and is chair of Trustees for a local charity. He is also a chartered member of the CIH and has previously acted as an Income Management specialist for HQN delivering best practice sessions
